We are excited to announce the release of our new Rerun Jobs feature! With Rerun Jobs, you will now be able to run a workflow using existing trigger data in InsightConnect.
How to Rerun a Workflow?
Go check out the job details page for a job that currently exists in the product. You will notice a new Rerun Job button in the upper right hand corner.
Simply click on the button, confirm your action and now the trigger data will be sent to the currently active version of that workflow so that it can run again and the outputs will be tracked in a new job.
What does it help with?
Rerun Job will help simplify your testing process when updating or adding new workflows. Rather than having to trigger your workflows over and over with production events as you make changes you can trigger your workflow once and rerun as you make additional changes.
Rerun Job will also add a failsafe should one of your production workflows fail due to unforeseen circumstances such as credentials for a connection being updated or a new network rule blocking communication.
