Can we get a help to create a site for the workstation based on the filter with OS contains Windows or MacOS. However, we can create a asset group using the filter. will it be possible to create a site using the filter.
Yes, just create a site, and only include the Dynamic Asset Group that has the filtered OS versions you’re looking for.
How to select the assets from the Dynamic group, with the new process I don’t see the process to add the asset group in the site?
Sites → Manage Site (the one you’re looking to add the group to) → Assets → Include Asset Groups → Select the asset group you’d like to include.
thank you. I applied the same, and the count of assets in asset groups are not reflecting in the site. I do have agents on the workstation? Does the site needs to be scanned?
Yes, I believe you’ll need to scan them into the site to get them to show as members.
Indeed, you can only see assets in a site when they have been scanned.
And will remain in that site even if they don’t exist anymore, unless removed manually (e.g. manually removing stale assets)
