Welcome to Rapid7 Discuss!

Welcome to the Rapid7 Discuss community forum!

This is your go-to place to discuss all things related to Rapid7 and its products. Got a question about how to best configure an integration? Want to learn how to get started creating your own workflows? You’ve come to the right place!

We have some Community Guidelines for the forum, but the gist of it is:

  1. Discuss is a public forum. This forum is publicly visible to allow for greater accessibility and knowledge-sharing throughout the community. For your and all our users’ privacy and security, please avoid sharing any personal or otherwise sensitive information.

  2. Be kind. We’re here to share knowledge and learn from each other. We all have different backgrounds and levels of experience in our fields, ranging from newcomers to absolute wizards. Whether someone’s trying to figure out how to setup a Jira integration or build a brand new plugin from scratch, let’s be respectful in our discussions.

  3. Keep it tidy. We want this to be a community where people feel they can find helpful information, as well as contribute such information. To ensure that, we should refrain from posting spam, torrents, content that’s not our own, or anything else considered illegal or questionable (see the Community Guidelines if you’re unsure). We should also try to post topics in the correct categories, as it makes things easier to find for everyone.

  4. If you see a problem, let us know. If something isn’t working properly or is broken, please leave a comment and we’ll look into it as quickly as possible. Or, if there’s a post that should be reviewed due to its contents, please flag it and we will address it. We’re always listening for feedback, and we’re thankful for every bit we receive so we can continue to improve our community for you as much as possible.

  5. Sharing is caring! If you have something that can help others and you’re willing to share, feel free to contribute it. This is a place for everyone to share their content and ideas, and ultimately help one another. We appreciate contributions of all types, whether it’s an answer to someone’s question, a new workflow idea, or a handy script for some quick automation.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us at discuss@rapid7.com. We hope you enjoy your time here and are able to learn (and share) some cool stuff with everyone else.
