Test Payload for NIDS

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if there exists some kind of NIDS test payload, like an EICAR file for AVs, so one can determine a ‘healthy state’ of the Network Sensor in combination with creation of alerts/investigations.

For the last 8 months we never had an alert/investigation from our NIDS and having a payload to see that it’s technically working would be nice.

I’m currently checking the alerts section for creating one for myself but maybe someone here has already a safe payload ready.
