Team Plugin Chats instead of Channels

Is it possible to use the Teams plugin to do direct chats as well as communicate in channels? I would like to setup Teams as one of the notification channels that is used when running a workflow. I will have the service account directly message/chat a user and send them a quick message about what was observed and what they can do to resolve.

When I go to setup a workflow step using the Teams plugin, it requires a Team Name and a Channel Name so it seems that direct chats are not an option yet.

In a channel you can respond to a thread, they will get a notification that they were responded to. But I do not know of a way to call out an individual, prefixing their name with an @ does not work through the API

This isn’t supported by Microsoft yet thorough the API endpoints we’re using (Graph API). Sorry for the inconvenience.
