Systems missing in Agents screen but in insightVM

Hi,

I’m just trying to understand something that’s come up while comparing data in two different places in insightVM.

I can find a specific device using the normal search button - in the details it shows the device has the R7 agent and was last seen 32 days ago. Our device purge limit is set to 45 days inactivity.

When I then check the Agents screen in the insight Platform, the device does not exist. I’ve checked all the filters and the same device does not exist at all. Is this expected behaviour and what is the reason for this discrepancy? If this is not normal then I’ll log a support ticket, but just wanted to check I’m not missing something before I do so (and also I get quicker answers here sometimes!).

Agents that are more than 30 days old will no longer be tracked by the Asset Management page, as they fall out of the “Stale” stage and move into fully offline and no longer tracked.

Thanks - I didn’t realise agents dropped off after only 30 days so that all matches up.
