That is succeed to connect with my Active Directory. However, back to the surface command try to use connector connect the Active Directory server still encounter error.

Below is the steps what I did:

  1. Insight Connect ( Automation)→ Setting →Plugin & Tools → Connection → Add connection→ Select Plugin : Active Directory LDAP → Run On : Orchestrator → Succeed

  2. Back to Surface Command ( Attack Surface Management ) → Configuration → Connector → Add Connector→ Microsoft Active Directory → Setting → Add Profile →Detail&Location →: My Orchestrator → Credentials : Filled up all necessary informations → Test Connections

After I completed the step 2 I have encounter the error

In this case, may I know how to address this error.
Orchestrator version : 1.65.4

Hi Jlai,

Thanks for posting, however I think this issue would be better handled via a Product Support case, you can open a support case within the insight platform by clicking on the ? icon in the top right hand corner or by visiting this link.

Trying to get some feedback from other customers on the attack command how has this helped in your enviroment, it seems this is just a dashboard to give more stats on what we have as far as scanning is concerned with vuln management.

Hi Mark,

Thanks for response. I try to open a support case as you mentioned. But I have encountered this kind of error.

Hi Vanessa,

This just for my demo environment. I have tried to connect my demo environment with my demo active directory but still failed.

Hi Vanessa, I would suggest starting a new post or reaching out to your Account Manager who can arrange some customer references and perhaps a deeper dive into the product. Rapid7 Attack Surface Management provides much more than an overview of existing vulnerability management metrics.

Hi @jlai1,

I’m sorry you’re having trouble here, are you an existing rapid7 customer or using a sandbox environment?

If you are an existing Rapid7 customer please reach out to your Rapid7 Platform administrator and having them troubleshoot this or open a support case on your behalf. I’ve looked into this issue and it appears that the Orchestrator update process is not working, this is not an issue with the Microsoft Active Directory connector.

Hi Mark,
Thank you and I will try to reach out to my administrator about this issue, and I have tried to install the latest version of Orchestrator that provide in Insight Platform. But still remain same issue.
