I know there is currently no option to authenticate against O365 or any other smtp server from IVM but this is really a very basic feature that needs to be added. Even Metasploit Pro has this ability. Most of our customers have moved to O365 and to try and keep local mail relays going to support a basic function of sending reports and alerts via email is not acceptable.
I know this will be resolved moving the a full Cloud IVM but it is basic and important enough to add it to IVM now.
Also, setting up an unsecured SMTP relay to support a security product is ironic…
