How to run the Scan Assistant. I can generate the keys but does the admin of a particular server have to run the MSI and checksum or is that for me too do?
I feel like all i have to do is create the key and provide the MSI and checksum to admins so they run it ? Some of my admins barely know what credentials are… i felt like this would be easier but it seems more complex … Instructions provided are very broad.
The server admins should be able to run the MSI, they just need to make sure that it is being run in a folder containing all the certificate files, otherwise it would throw an error.
Also it needs to be made sure that the port 21047 needs to be open on the server or at least allowed for communication with the Nexpose console, otherwise it would just be a regular scan that would be done and not the Scan Assistant scan.
