My team recently deployed Windows Server 2016 Server Core. The Rapid7 Insight Agent was installed along with our base software. According to Windows Update, the server is fully patched.
However, the servers running Windows Server 2016 Server Core are reporting high risk. I reviewed the missing components and they are all applicable to Windows Server 2016 Desktop Experience. For instance, IE Updates which isn’t even installed on Server Core.
As anyone else encountered this situation? If so, any suggestion or guidance.
