Rapid7 Exposure command and Infoblox integration

We are currently trying to integrate Infoblox NIOS DDI (on-prem) using the Infoblox NIOS DDI connector in Exposure Command Advanced.

Our Infoblox deployment is fully on-prem and reachable only via private IP space (RFC1918).
When testing the connector, the connection fails with HTTPS connection reset errors. The connector profile only allows Location = SaaS, which suggests the connector is executing from Rapid7 cloud.

Based on our analysis, this failure is expected if the connector is executed from SaaS, as Rapid7 cloud cannot reach private on-prem IPs without an on-prem execution runtime.

Can any one done the integration, if so please share the same.

For integration with on-prem deployments, you will need a rapid7 orchestrator installed in your environment where it can communicate both with Infoblox as well as the rapid7 cloud platform. Once you have installed and configured the orchestrator, then it will become a choice for your connector profile.
