Query for assets in ip subnet with what slant they're in?

hey all,

recently had the request come to me to run reports for our vdi and citrix workstations. Wondering if I am able to define an asset group by ip subnet /slant ? Any suggestions from anyone that has wrangled up their virtual hosts to tag and report on?
