plugin_HX_Rapid7IDR

Hello, all.

I address you as the creator of the plugin.

When I create a connector for us to RAPID7, I see this message.

rapid7/FireEye HX:1.0.1. Step name: get_alerts_by_host_id
HTTPSConnectionPool(host=‘10.29.16.141’, port=3000): Max retries exceeded with url: //hx/api/v3/version (Caused by SSLError(SSLCertVerificationError(1, ‘[SSL: CERTIFICATE_VERIFY_FAILED] certificate verify failed: self signed certificate (_ssl.c:1056)’)))

It is a test bench, so it is impossible to issue certificates. How to solve this problem?

Hey @vova_semenchuk, thanks for reporting. We can update this plugin to not be as strict, and allow user preference for TLS validation.

We will get a fix out to you.

I’d appreciate it. In a test environment, it’s an extra challenge. :innocent:

Will you send me a new plugin? Or will it be updated in the general repository?

General repository, we’ll post link here when it goes live.
