It’s been 24 hours since the patching information was released. Is this normal for content updates to take days instead of being the same day? Even the R7 site is missing patch Tuesday vulnerabilities. Vulnerability & Exploit Database - Rapid7
Then it seems there’s a wait for assets to check in. Is this normal and I’m just impatient? Many of these monthly updates have zero days that I don’t want sitting idle.

I just wanted to provide some answers and clarifications. We fully understand the importance of being able to detect critical vulnerabilities as quickly and effectively as possible.
For this go round of Patch Tuesday, our coverage was added to InsightVM within 12 hours of Microsoft publishing the information and should have been available for assessment in the product prior to this post being added. If this was not the case for you, please reach out to support so we can investigate further. As a note, our coverage does become available in product prior to the public facing site being updated so I do recommend using the product as the source of truth. The architecture of InsightVM does rely on assets checking in to be assessed and depending on your configuration or the setup of your environment it may be worth contacting your customer success manager or support to determine if there is any optimizations that could be put in place. We are having a similar issue in our environment as well where its a delay on Patch Tuesday updates for 1-3 delays before it reflect properly in our tenant.
I’m a new InsightVM Customer (2.5 months). I noticed this for December release. Patch Tuesday dashboard showing 9 unique vulnerabilities impacting 12 assets (all servers).
Checked vulnerabilities in MS Defender XDR, and it’s showing pretty much what I’d expect, (750 assets impacted) which is not reflected in InsightVM.
Not sure if I should give it another 24 hrs or submit a ticket.
