Orchestrator Notifications

Is there a way to send email notifications if an Orchestrator changes its health state?

There is a settings on the Orchestrator Page. You can choose to send notifications. I believe it has to be offline for 30 minutes in order to trigger that notification.

Interesting, I had already set that but it didn’t work.
I noticed some Workflows were not trigging and I was out of storage.
We use the Ubuntu ova and docker had taken up all the disk, I did a docker prune and it freed up half the disk. No emails went out and I’m not sure how long it was down for, it was identified at the beginning of the shift.

Good morning Brandon.

The Orchestrator notification as I understand it today is setup to send a notice if their is not a heart beat to the platform within a time greater than 30 minutes. Let me share this feedback with product and see what they say.

I’m not sure, I was in the middle of another upgrade and I got pulled in because Teams was not triggering Workflows.
First I bounced the Workflow but that didn’t work.
Then we did a connection test and it was throwing a cert error.
We logged into the box to see the docker logs when we saw root being at 100%
I then checked the orchestrator page and saw it red.
We did a docker prune first to see what that freed up and it was half.
We have only had this since the Ubuntu image was released and haven’t done any custom containers and haven’t really added many, just using the ones we normally do.
So as a postmortem I was looking into alerting and saw that this was in place and never triggered.
