Not receiving hostname or ip address information in raw logs from Solaris systems

We are currently onboarding our event sources that cannot utilize the agents for the InsightIDR platform. I created a custom event source to accept syslogs for Solaris servers but when I go to review the raw logs neither the hostname or ip address is being shown. Has anybody experienced this before and know how to fix it?
