No buffer space available (maximum connections reached?): connect

Hello,

I wanted to know if anyone has seen the following error message pertaining to event sources “No buffer space available (maximum connections reached?): connect” After performing test it doesn’t seem like the dynamic ports are exhausted.

Does anyone have a solution to correct this problem?

Hi @dmiddlebrooks , typically the issue here is related to your collector host machine running out of file descriptors (FDs).

I took a look at your collector and I can see that it is maxing out at about 30,000 open FDs

If you reboot the host machine it should return to normal.

Thanks, after the reboot the machine has returned back to normal.
