I’ve noticed that across our 4.0.21.45/47 deployment, the vast majority of macOS devices are missing the uninstall.sh file, previously found in /opt/rapid7/ir_agent/components/insight_agent. Was this intended? Was the uninstall file moved somewhere else?
I have this in my notes form a Support ticket 10 years ago. As far as I know it still works.
To uninstall the application, take these steps:
1. Run: $ cd [installation directory]/.install4j
Install4j is a hidden directory. To list hidden directories, run: ls -a.
2. Run: $./uninstall
