We have linking enabled, but I still see duplicates of assets. Is there any way for me to combine or manually link assets that are the same together?
It’s best to understand how correlation works. We will always correlate on the unique_id or agent_id, so credentials or agents will always help to ensure correlation. Next, we would use the Hostname if we don’t get the unique_id’s, then Mac_address, and lastly, IP. So my biggest recommendation is to add the best credentials possible or look into using the Scan Assistant (Using the Scan Assistant | InsightVM Documentation).

Would this be a good use case for agents?
If I have a Web Server that has multiple VIPs each with their own Hostname and possible Mac_address, but if there was an agent it would use that to combine all the discovered assets?
