MAC Address as Asset Filter

This may be more something to put in the discuss section but what I’m wondering is if any thought has been given to allowing asset groups to be created based off of MAC addresses. We have a large number of devices that we really can’t get good authenticated scans on but that would be easy to filter by MAC address as the vendors on these devices are the same. These are things like alarm panels, some specialized printers, things of that nature. It seems like this would be a logical addition to the filtering for Asset Groups or Tags. Is there a way to do this that I’m missing perhaps?

Thinking of the same filter.
There is an option when running customized queries to lookup my MAC addresses but it does not seem to be working for me.

I just heard from the Engineering team and this is something in the works but currently not available. Currently, we can only search and tag based off of MAC address.
