Finally getting around to playing with the Insight Agent plugin, but ran into a slight issue - apparently it’s case sensitive when searching by hostname for the Get Asset Details action. The step fails completely unless it matches the asset.hostname value under Asset Management in the platform. Is it safe to assume that this isn’t by design? Works a treat with an IP address though!
We are aware of the case sensitivity requirement in the plugin right now and we are actively looking into it! Is your expectation that the lookup will match regardless of case?
Yeah, mainly because the case of asset names from IDR investigations varies. Adding a search by asset ID to that action would also fit my use case and remove any potential ambiguity in a hostname search.
