Few hundred to a few thousand. We’ve automated device tagging and a few other provisionsing/deprovisioning tasks so when someone is setting up a large batch of devices, it’ll trigger a bunch of stuff. I’ve moved most time-based recurring events out of InsightConnect and into python for better control over formatting the data. An example of this would be when we run a daily report checking the reputation of international ingress sources using the AbuseIP DB API.

Curious if you are sending any of your scripted results back into InsightConnect via the API trigger?

Not yet, but I’ve thought about it. The closest I’ve come is with resolutions to DMCA notices. When the requests come in, at have a stardard procedure which has been automated using Google AppSheet so that once the form is filled and sumbitted with details from the notice it runs all the relevant queries and spits out user and device details. Once we get the results and attach roof that the violater has been notified, it closes the investigation and posts a summary. I haven’t really had a need to analize data and send it back for anything.
