Honeypots still running Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS

I noticed today that our honeypots were all running on (highly customized) Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS, which is EOL. I downloaded the latest honeypot OVA from IDR and performed a rip & replace on 2 of our HPs, only to discover that the replacement OVA is also running Ubuntu 18 LTS. Anyone know if there are plans to update the OVA to something current, or are we going with "it’s highly customized and there really isn’t anything to update so ¯_(ツ)_/¯ "?

Hi Bill!

Our engineers are working on getting the OVA to a new version, and we expect that to be released at some point this quarter.

For those looking for a bit of follow-up, R7 has updated the OVA to use Ubuntu 22.04.
