I have an issue with Google Chrome vulnerabilities appearing on scan reports after it has been uninstalled. Is there residual indicators left after an uninstall such as reg key or install files which the scan will pick up as Google Chrome still being installed?
look at the proof column for this vulnerability and it will tell you what it is looking for
This works for individual computers, but when there are over 100 it’s not practical to go to each individual computer and find the proof. This should be exportable in a report.
Realistically, the proof should be roughly the same for all the devices in the group that you are looking for. Most likely something was left under the end-user’s %AppData% folder.
