Hey team,

I was wondering if it is possible for an external user to use the IPL to access the on-prem console via the Insight Platform.

I currently have access to a customer's platform as an external user and would like to use the IPL to manage the on-prem console for them.

Is this supported?

From What i understand you would still need to be on their INTERNAL network via VPN etc in order for the Link / Passthrough for you to access the NeXpose Console internally. But Im sure a Moose can confirm this and make sure thats the case or if there is another option im not aware of.

Hi @landreani4,

As long as the user can reach the Security Console on port 3780, it's doable. You'll need to:

  • Create accounts on the Insight Platform
  • Create accounts on the Security Console (the username and email address must be identical to the email address used on the Insight Platform)
