Anyone else having issues with Edge updates showing up as vulnerable when they are not?
R7 is stating the following proof: Vulnerable software installed: Microsoft Edge 135.0.3179.73 (C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Edge\Application\msedge.exe)
Version 135.0.3179.73 is the latest version released by Microsoft on the 11th. Microsoft lists this version as patching the two CVEs in question.
Based on what I see in the console, I think they are looking for the Google Chrome version instead of the Edge version. This issue appears on every Edge install.
Yes, also seeing it. Opened a case and sent a bunch of logs. Referred to this thread in the case so they know it’s not just me. This has happened before since Edge is Chromium based, they get their versions mixed up.
I’m seeing this one across our estate also. Has anyone had an update to a case yet ? I’m on the fence as to whether to put a ticket in if R7 are already aware.

Yes, we have a ticket opened also. Not to mention they also have had issues with the 4/25 2016 Server CU. We are about to migrate everything to 2025 Server but these issues are less than professional IMHO, for the price point this shouldn’t be happening.
