Actions:

This new plugin enables an InsightConnect workflow to manage all aspects of a Connectwise Ticket and Ticket notes. Below are some of the most popular plugin’s actions and use cases.

Create Ticket

This action allows you to create a new Ticket. CompanyID, Status, and Summary are the only required fields.
Use Case:
When InsightConnect receives a new incident from IDR or IVM, a new ticket is created for a team to pick up.

Create Ticket Note

This action is used to create a new ticketNote.

This action allows you to create a new Ticket Note which is attached to an already created Ticket. TicketID and the note details are the only required fields.
Use Case:
As a security Admin, I want to add additional notes to a ticket to help triage the issue.

The connection configuration accepts the following parameters:

  • client_id
  • company
  • private_key
  • public_key
