Collector High Availability

Hello everyone,
I would like to know if High Availability is possible on InsightIDR. By that I mean, if my collector dies can I switch quickly to another collector ?

If yes, the link between a computer and a collector is considered like an asset or not ? I suppose that asset is only computers / servers but I prefer to be sure !

Hi Cyrille,

the agents maintaining a list of all reachable collectors them self - so fail-over is integrated. But for event collection via remote syslog, wmi or shared directory there seems to be no concept for fail-over / HA (afaik).
