CIS Policies Not Producing Results


We are trying to scan our environment using the built in CIS policies benchmarks but our scan is not producing results.

We have the right credentials in place as we are doing other scans that are producing results. When looking at the logs, CIFS credentials are successful on port 445 but DCE Endpoint Resolution is failing on port 135.

Has anyone seen this issue ? If yes, what was your resolution ?

We fixed this by adding the scanning service account as local admin on the endpoints.
