Any API to add asset type for endpoints in Rapid 7?

I have endpoints data such as asset type. asset type can be router, server, switch etc.
I want to enrich rapid 7 endpoint with asset type.
I am looking for a api which can solve above use case.

Unfortunately there does not seem to be any API endpoints to add an asset type, here is the documentation for the rapid 7 API
