Agent reporting simultaneous logins across multiple computers

We’re seeing an issue when an end user logs into a computer with the R7 insight agent installed that it reports that user has logged into multiple computers at the same time.

For example, if end user A is logging into Laptop1 it will report that user A has logged into Laptop 1, Laptop 2, Laptop 3, Laptop 4, etc all around the same time frame. So looking up reports on one user shows a mass login across multiple computers, and looking up a singular computer shows a large number of users logging in when it’s just not possible.

We use Intune to handle deployment, version 3.2.4.1. It sounds to me like there is a unique identifier somewhere for the installer that is basically reporting the same device key for all devices, but we didn’t have this issue before and taking apart the MSI I don’t see anything like that off hand.

Any advice would be appreciated!

Had same problem. It was caused by our vpn proxy authentication.
Add those proxies as read only domain controllers, and the fix will slow clear the problem as the data drops off
