We’re a Rapid7 InsightVM customer looking to perform a Policy Assessment scan for CIS Oracle MySQL Community Server 5.7 Benchmark Level 1 - MySQL RDBMS on Linux. We’re seeking the help of a peer who has been able to successfully complete this scan and if you’re comfortable sharing what a test artifact scan report looks like to ensure it fulfills our requirements.

Matt Cavaco from the Rapid7 Customer Success team here! I remember we’ve been in communication about this topic. I connected with the Support Engineer and it sounds like a fix was released on December 11, 2024 for Nexpose / InsightVM via Version 7.1.0. Release Notes: “MySQL JDBC driver. The Scan Engine is now able to establish secure connections with TLS 1.1, 1.2, and 1.3 when executing authenticated scans of MySQL databases.”
