Adding a Clickable URL to Investigation Comments or Details

Hi,
I have a workflow that creates an investigation. I receive a URL as a string output, which I use to search for a log. Is there any way to add this as a clickable address in the comments section of the investigation, or include it in the investigation in another way?

You can add it to the investigation, but it won’t be an actual hyperlink. The comments section of IDR does not support any kind of formatting.

There is not another method of adding data into an IDR investigation beyond comments.

You can send a hyperlink via Teams, Slack, or Email as an alternative. I know it isn’t what you were looking for, but it is another possibility.

Thanks for your reply. I didnt find a way also. Just I send URL in comment section, it can be an option maybe in future.

Sounds good. It is a great idea. I submitted a ticket for an enhancement to be done in the comments section that would not only allow you to add a hyperlink, but also to allow other types of formatting. Something like the Markdown formatting you can do in Artifact cards.

I can’t say if/when they would investigate and decide if that is something that can be done, but it never hurts to ask.
