I want to know how to activate a collector

Once you download the collector and install it on a server within your environment, you will receive a token post completion of the installation (the Agent Key will appear in a window on the server where you are installing the collector service). Copy it to your clipboard, go back to insightIDR, go to data collection, click collector, and in the upper right there is an option to Activate Collector, which will prompt you for that Agent Key. Paste the key in there and hit activate and after a few minutes, you should see your collector in IDR.
