2026 - June Patch Tuesday: Previously Patched Devices Reported as Vulnerable

After the June 2026 Patch Tuesday content update, devices with May 2026 patches applied are now being incorrectly reported as vulnerable to May CVEs. These same devices were compliant until June 9

Support recommended installing the June KB (KB5094127), which misses the point. The issue is May patches being reassessed as missing, not June.

Anyone else experiencing this after June Patch Tuesday?

I constantly see issues where R7 IVM will look at the registry value for patch level, UBR, instead of checking the kernel file version. This creates too many false positives and has me doubting the information I get for CU status.
