Following up on the recent update from rapid7 support on the Windows 11 24H2 false positive recommendations and vulnerability enumeration. We were informed that the issue was resolved in Content Version 1.1.3889.
At this time, our console is still on Content Version 1.1.3885.
Automatic updates: Enabled
Update cadence: Every 1 hour
Manual update: Attempted, no newer content available
Could someone please confirm whether 1.1.3889 has been rolled out globally or if deployment is still in progress?
Seeing the same thing in my environment. I have a ticket in with support identifying the error after patch tuesday and haven’t heard back on their content update rollout…
This the update I received from support on Apr 24th:
Thank you for your patience while our engineering teams addressed the false positive findings regarding Windows 11 systems incorrectly advising the application of KB5082063.
”We are pleased to confirm that a fix has been deployed via Content Update 1.1.3889”
We have not received the content update, They even reset my license and I restarted the console.
April month findings and Validations affect metrics a lot
Update: No issues with the content update in identifying and validating vulnerabilities released in April of 2026 by MS for Windows 11 24H2. However, the content update messed up the published dates of these vulnerabilities(using modified date instead of Published date) that is causing the reporting issues.
Until rapid7 fixes the issue: I modified my queries to to extend the timeline of date published in Microsoft patch category to track MS updates for affected OS.
