Intune Deployment - Scan Assistant

Hello everyone! In the process of setting up an Intune Deployment to deploy out the Scan Assistant. Doing so, I’ve noticed that the “App install context” is set as User. Assuming this is by design, however, I can’t wrap my head around why it wouldn’t be by Device.

I know when deploying the Rapid7 Agent it’s defaulted as Device.

Any ideas on why this would be a preferred method or any other insight would be appreciated.

For those that are curious about this, here is the response I received from my rep:

“Looks like our teams are aware of this and have submitted this as an IDEA ticket but they currently do not have an estimated delivery date.”
