How would you use the insight idr plugin to check if a hostname has the IDR agent?

You could likely use the Insight agent plugin (https://extensions.rapid7.com/extension/rapid7_insight_agent#Documentation-Technical-Details-Actions-Get-Agent-Details) to Get Agent details. If it fails the host likely does not have an agent.
